Dunedin, FL ( pressreleases ) January 10, 2012 - Steven Pinkert is a lawyer and businessman living in Miami Florida. Besides being an attorney, Pinkert is a brilliant photographer. Involved since the age of 9, Pinkert has an in-depth knowledge of photography. As a child in day camp, Pinkert learned to develop black and white film and the use of an enlarger. He has also shot and developed Ektachrome. Ektachrome refers to a range of transparent, still, and motion picture films but most widely used as slides. It has a distinctive look which became familiar to readers of National Geographic who used it extensively for color photographs.

Throughout the years, Pinkert's involvement with photography, like most hobbies, has waxed and waned. However, with digital DSLRs achieving the quality of film in recent years, Pinkert has increased his involvement once again.

Photography is the art, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. Typically, a lens is used to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during a timed exposure. A negative image on film is traditionally used to photographically create a positive image on a paper base, known as a print, either by using an enlarger or by contact printing.
