(Los Angeles) – On-line voting begins today, announced RoadAngels.com today, of its first video competition showcasing the work of students and educators affiliated with Video Symphony, a leading entertainment educational and post-production facility located in Burbank.
This summer, students and educators began participation in on-going video documentation of RoadAngels.com’s peer-to-peer designated driver and nightlife social platform.
The first assignment was videotaping and editing of RoadAngels.com’s July 4th Yacht Party, organized and supervised by Video Symphony instructor, Kurt Mason and RoadAngels.com director of communication & strategy, Milena Rimassa.
Mason, RoadAngels.com staff, media educators and professionals evaluated multiple Video Symphony editing submissions, selecting 5 top videos that will now compete for a grand prize to include video equipment and a chance to participate in the production and post-production of RoadAngels.com’s reality series based on members’ true stories.
The video competition will begin Monday, September 19, 2011 and run through the end of the month. Competing videos may be viewed from the RoadAngels.com site or from its video channels. A winner will be determined by a tally of “likes” on RoadAngels.com, Vimeo.com, and YouTube.com and will be announced during the first week of October 2011.
The web series, “RoadAngels Road Stories” is currently in development, with first episodes scheduled for production in late Fall 2011.
